January 2009 The new development is now finished, many thanks for your patience during the noisy and hectic construction. We have expanding our service to include two further established GP's, Dr Amanda Brown and Dr Lester Kelly ( previously practicing at Eastside Medical Centre ), onsite Physiotherapy, an expanded and purpose built Walk-in centre along with new Minor Surgical Theatres for the Skin Cancer Centre. Naevus Skin Cancer Screening now has its own dedicated space within the new area, closely associated with the Skin Cancer Centre. Physiotherapy services: - acute walk-in soft tissue injury clinic and scheduled physiotherapy appointments and treatments. Assessment and treatment of all musculoskeletal injuries including spinal and peripheral joint injuries. A strong emphasis is placed on acute injuries, manual therapy, sports injuries, spinal manipulation, biomechanical analysis incorporating corrective strengthening exercises and acupuncture. Additionally, we have an on site gym, or if required an off site gym for rehabilitation programs under the guidance of the physiotherapists. There is now expanded car parking and an exit onto Clawton Street. Repeat Prescriptions We have also now added an online repeat prescription request form which can be completed and submitted online or printed out and faxed or dropped in. This service is only for regular repeat medications that have previously be prescribed by Carefirst. Depending on circumstances, you may be asked to book an appointment prior to medications being prescribed.
